This game is looking somewhat bleak at this juncture-we are going to need a few things to go right to have a chance to steal it-keeping the JQQ together and getting a 10 or K cut would be step 1- we also need to keep pone down as much as we can heading into his 3 counts-we are basically at the mercy of his hold in this particular hand |

6-7 has plenty of potential. Cutting a 5 here would be lovely.

Taking the known points with the open ended cuts to the double run. Rough 8 cut today. We're in dire straights now, gotta be full brakes in the pegging here.

Hi. For what it's worth, guide was my first word. (I like to use a word with three vowels, or two plus a Y). TheGrumpyUncle says: Fwiw, Guide has already been used, so you should use a different one... Daily and Sepia are my starters.... or Adieu if I really want vowels |

Looking for a good starter card whatever way we go. So I’ll go with middle touchers to crib |

Looks like we need help with cards higher then four and some more help from our opponent. dec |

On my island alone so far. Kept points together, and I'd rather have the lower cards to peg with. Hoping she doesn't like the queen in her hand to give it to me!

Yuk! I believe in most cases this hold will prove to be the best choice of these slim pickens. |

Need to get lucky. Tossing the 6-7 hoping for a five cut. The 8 gives me some potential and my fingers are crossed for the crib after getting a 2 point hand |

Ugly hand, JQQ open-ended as opposed to 679, which requires a gut-shot. Not the potential we need in this precarious position. |

hmmm. so three hands (?) for me to earn 45 points before current Pone earns 31..Dylan is singing …” It’s not dark yet but it’s gettin’ there” ..need a favorable cut which can come from 8/13 ranks ..ten or K can give me a double run ..🤞 this is not game five in the playoffs Eolus619 says: a btw..i acknowledge a six, nine and 2 Ws are already seen..but in Ras’s the top ten lowest average balks Eolus619 says: whoops fat fingers hit reply early .. a btw..i acknowledge a six, nine and 2 Qs are already seen..but in Ras’s the top ten lowest average balks these cards also appear in six n/der discards

Kinda ugly and the cut didn't help our hand but maybe there is still some hope for the crib.

Tough spot. Hoping for two things. 1.) Trips Qs on the play and 2.) Opponent discarded 6, 9 or 7 (to matchup with the cut 8) to our crib.

I have frequently found that pitching the 6-7 from a 6-7-9 combination is almost as good as pitching the 6-9. Since I need some help to salvage this game, I will try it that way for a hit in either my hand or my crib. ryman554 says: My thoughts exactly. How am I going to get a 24 point crib and get back into the game? 67788! Halfway there! |

At 76*-90 playing an Offense strategy for the pegging the dynamic expected averages and Win/Loss %s are:
_______________Our Offense___Hand_Pegs_Crib_Total____W2 %___W3 % 7-J-Q-Q____4.41+2.59+5.19=12.19____0.1____3.5 6-7-9-J____4.41+3.24+4.47=12.12____0.0____2.6 9-J-Q-Q____4.54+2.50+4.99=12.03____0.1____3.9 Offense_______L2 %____L3 % 7-J-Q-Q________19.0____70.9 6-7-9-J________22.6____75.0 9-J-Q-Q________19.3____71.0 7-J-Q-Q is best for expected averages by 0.07pt. and although 9-J-Q-Q is slightly best for Win %s, 7-J-Q-Q is slightly lowest for Loss %s. So I'll select the 6-9 to discard. After the 8 cut I'll play Offense to the lead. |

Good puzzle. I've really been watching board position lately on these. |
